Celluar Specialities expand public safety offering

MANCHESTER, NH — June 15, 2009 — Cellular Specialties, Inc. (CSI) - a recognized leader in the design and implementation of in-building wireless products and solutions — today announced that it has expanded its Public Safety product line to include the new DSP85 Digital Repeater. CSI’s enhanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) offering enables first responders and other public safety personnel to achieve greater efficiencies in the performance of their duties by utilizing newly available, uncongested communication frequencies — formally analog TV frequencies.

Today’s announcement underscores the company’s new emphasis on providing a complete roadmap of devices to support in-building wireless communications among first responder personnel. CSI’s President, Products Division, Scott Goodrich, elaborates on the importance of reliable in-building coverage for our public safety personnel, “The reliability and performance of public safety communication systems inside buildings is a critical necessity. DSP technology differs from other technologies used in the past, because it achieves the highest level of performance and spectrum agility, allowing for frequency adjustments without expensive forklift upgrades.
