Celluar Specialities expand public safety offering

MANCHESTER, NH — June 15, 2009 — Cellular Specialties, Inc. (CSI) - a recognized leader in the design and implementation of in-building wireless products and solutions — today announced that it has expanded its Public Safety product line to include the new DSP85 Digital Repeater. CSI’s enhanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) offering enables first responders and other public safety personnel to achieve greater efficiencies in the performance of their duties by utilizing newly available, uncongested communication frequencies — formally analog TV frequencies.

Today’s announcement underscores the company’s new emphasis on providing a complete roadmap of devices to support in-building wireless communications among first responder personnel. CSI’s President, Products Division, Scott Goodrich, elaborates on the importance of reliable in-building coverage for our public safety personnel, “The reliability and performance of public safety communication systems inside buildings is a critical necessity. The nation’s first responders need in-building wireless infrastructure to support communications. Interoperability issues will still need to be addressed, but without a reliable, high performance in-building system, lives may be at stake.”

DSP technology differs from other technologies used in the past, because it achieves the highest level of performance and spectrum agility, allowing for frequency adjustments without expensive forklift upgrades. DSP filtering provides unmatched selectivity and can be finely tuned to help overcome difficult RF problems such as adjacent channel interference.

Products That Improve Wireless Public Safety Communications

DSP85 Public Safety 800 Digital Repeater product highlights include:

* Meets all Public Safety SMR 800 banding requirements
* 85 dB of gain, ½ watt of power
* Re-tuning of multiple pass band configurations, locally or remotely, with virtually no downtime.
* Network Protection
* Remote Monitoring and Control

The new DSP85 Digital Repeater joins CSI’s existing wireless public safety products including the 700 MHz and 800 MHz signal boosters. CSI’s complete line of 700 and 800 MHz Public Safety products include:

· 700/800 MHz dual band Signal Booster; 80 dB gain

· Bi-Directional Amplifiers for SMR commercial, Public Safety, and NPSPAC; 65. 75, and 80 dB gain

· In-Line Pass Band Filters that convert a full band SMR BDA or repeater into a Public Safety unit

· System components including indoor antennas, yagi antennas, power dividers, directional couplers, cross band couplers, and in-line fixed attenuators.

Pricing and Availability: List price for the DSP-PSS8 is $7500.00.
