CDL Complete Substantial Order with Unique Systems

CDL Complete Substantial Order with Unique Systems

CDL are pleased to announce that they have completed an order from Unique System (UK) Ltd, for high accuracy MiniPOSNAV aided inertial navigation systems and MicroVision video telemetry units.

Unique System Ltd will be offering these products to the rental market for projects in the North Sea and West Africa.

The MiniPOS/NAV system combines CDL’s MiniPOS2 inertial navigation system, with RDI’s Workhorse Navigator DVL in a single compact housing. The MiniPOSNAV is calibrated by CDL’s expert Engineers to ensure maximum accuracy and can be used for high subsea navigation independent of acoustic positioning systems

The MicroVision is a multi-channel 2.4GHz long range, full colour video and audio transmission system. Its rugged design ensures excellent performance in harsh environments.

The Managing Director of Unique System (UK) Ltd, Ray Hughes said, “We supply what our customer’s demand - Up-to-date equipment that must be of quality and be supported properly. CDL fit the bill.”

About CDL

CDL was established in 1998 and is head quartered in Aberdeen, Scotland. In 2006 CDL Inc. was created as a base in Houston, Texas for customer support and services for the Americas. More recently, in 2009 a base in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil was established.
