Oslo, 26th of August 2009 - Blom has been awarded a contract by Kortcenter.dk A/S in Denmark. BlomInfo A/S, Blom’s subsidiary in Denmark, has signed an agreement with Kortcenter.dk A/S in Denmark for aerial photography and update of digital maps covering several cities in South Jutland in Denmark. Kortcenter.dk A/S is a supplier of spatial data and related products, and Blom has executed projects for Kortcenter.dk over the last ten years.
“Blom is proud that Kortcenter.dk continues to choose Blom as a partner, and believes that the main reason for Kortcenter.dk to choose Blom is Blom’s unique expertise, significant experiences and prompt deliveries of superior quality products”, says Kristian Skak-Nielsen, Managing Director BlomInfo A/S.
The NOK multimillion project is expected to be completed by the end of 2009. In addition to collection and processing of 10 cm resolution aerial photography covering 170 cities in Denmark, totaling a 390 sq.km area, Blom will update digital maps in FOT standard based on aerial photos.
