Blaupunkt choos u-blox as supplier for GPS GALILEO

Thalwil, Switzerland – November 11, 2008 – u-blox today announced that Blaupunkt, a leading German manufacturer of driver information systems, car radios and professional systems, has chosen u-blox as a supplier of GPS and GALILEO receiver technology. u-blox and Blaupunkt have signed a frame agreement, including a comprehensive quality assurance contract.
Under the arrangement, u-blox will deliver its GPS and GALILEO receiver chips and modules to Blaupunkt. The agreement demonstrates the commitment of both companies to maintaining their respective positions as GPS navigation innovators. The relationship will also serve in the development of new and exciting products, where there is an increasing demand for high-quality and reliable GPS services.
