Bionatics presents LandSIM3D® at GIT-mässan

Paris, France – April 2010, the 1st – Bionatics, the technology leader in 3D territory modeling software, will present LandSIM3D and several real-time 3D city-/landscape models created by its customers, at the GIT-mässan in Jönköping (Sweden) the 14th to 16th of April. LandSIM3D is a 3D simulation and visualization software dedicated to territory planning and landscape preservation The ease of use makes it possible to, in short time, create and 3D landscape from geographical data and to visualize a project in it.

Visitors at the Bionatics booth will be able to see different 3D city- and landscape- models
created by LandSIM3D users in Europe as:

• City models bigger than 1500 square kilometers created automatically from geographical data and completed in the area of interest with manually modeled buildings.

• Fully automatically created models and city models completed with automatically created
buildings from third party suppliers.

• Landscape preservation projects sized 450 square kilometers or bigger with extreme level of details.

• Infrastructure integration projects e.g. roads, railways and wind mills.

In common for all projects is that LandSIM3D users rapidly, within a few hours of work, will
have their first version of their landscape. They can then create their specific object with external tools and import them thanks to support of common 3D formats such as 3ds or Google SketchUp. The LandSIM3D model will then follow our customer with his visualization needs through all project phases, studying alternatives, environmental impacts and the landscape evolution in time. Images, videos or the entire model to navigate freely, can be provided to third parties sharing the view of the project.
