Geographic Imager 1.5 is the latest version of this powerful software that adds geospatial functionality to Adobe Photoshop.

“Following the successful release and tremendous reception of the initial Geographic Imager releases, we are delighted to be following up so quickly with this update”, said Ted Florence, President of Avenza Systems. “We have responded to the requests of our users by quickly adding support for Adobe’s newest version of Photoshop as well as enhancing the already useful toolset within the earlier versions.” he added.

Geographic Imager enhances the already commanding Adobe Photoshop imaging environment by adding all the tools and technology necessary to support the import, edit, manipulation and export of geospatial images such as aerial and satellite imagery. • Import and export geotiffs and other spatial raster formats along with all georeferencing
• Georeference non-referenced imagery
• Ground Control Point (GCP) transformation
• Reprojection of spatial imagery
• Automatic mosaicking of spatial imagery

This Month's Burning Issue...
Each month we select a hot topic and a leading figure in the industry to write about it.
This month's burning issue:

How valuable are our efforts on SDIs if we don’t actively address the human issues? Think about all the government regulations, technical implementation plans, internal processes and procedures, data sharing networks and so on. These are arguably meaningless if there is no buy-in or understanding from the people who must deliver against them.

During the 1Spatial Conference 2008 where there was a large number of presentations on a wide range of important industry topics ranging from data quality, data integration and data maintenance to open source and INSPIRE. But there were very few presentations that focused on the human aspects of our business.… More…
