ArcGIS 9.3 supports ESRI (UK) software extensions

Aylesbury 05 September, 2008: ESRI (UK) has released new versions of its CrimeAnalyst and ProductivitySuite software extensions to include support for ArcGIS 9.3 and Windows Vista.

ESRI’s ArcGIS 9.3 platform is an integrated collection of GIS software products for building a complete GIS that delivers geographic information wherever it is needed, in desktops, servers, for custom applications, over the Web or in the field.

With support for ArcGIS 9.3, ESRI (UK)’s CrimeAnalyst 1.6 will enable the law enforcement community to leverage the full power of ArcGIS in support of crime mapping and analysis activities.

ProductivitySuite 1.3 is a complete set of tools for managing and using UK data within an ArcGIS environment. Users of ArcGIS 9.3 will be able to take advantage of the strong data management tools available in 9.3, which combined with ProductivitySuite will help them to realise new levels of user productivity while significantly reducing the costs and effort associated with data maintenance and administration.

Pete Wilkinson, Head of Technical Solutions Group, ESRI (UK) said: “The ArcGIS 9.3 platform enables us to realise our vision of delivering products offering world-beating benefits which are also tailored to UK customers’ needs.”

ESRI’s ArcGIS 9.3 will be showcased at its Europe, Middle East and Africa User Conference from 28th – 30th October 2008 at London’s QEII Conference Centre.
