Abaco presents its latest DbMAP Suite

Tenerife, Islas Canarias, Spain, November 5, 2008 - Abaco Srl, a leader in the research and development of GIS tools and applications, will exhibit at the V Jornadas Técnicas de la IDE in España – JIDEE200 in Tenerife, Spain.

Visitors will have the possibility to see the new versions of the DbMAP product suite, including the recently released GeoFlyer Pro.

Abaco also presents at the conference the complete integration with the new Oracle 11g Spatial data types with an integrated 3D viewer for rural and urban areas, in order to manage the spatial information about the environment, directly stored in the database.

Abaco’s DbMAP 3D Flyer and DbMAP 3D GeoFlyer Pro allow to fly over the 3D model of the territory, with continuous flight, and unrivalled performances; models can be created or uploaded in GeoDatabases in matter of minutes starting from existing standard formats, through Abaco’s authoring tools.

On its monthly newsletter, available at the corporate website www.abacogroup.com, Abaco published public URLs to see several live versions of its solutions.

“With some projects that started in Spain during 2008, we are very committed to provide up-to-date tools, technologies and applications for the Spanish market”, said Fabio Slaviero, Abaco’s Business Development Manager. “Now 3D technology and 3D Land Management systems are at hand, suitable for existing Spatial Data Infrastructures, and offered at lower prices and higher quality”.

The underlying Abaco’s technology is well known for it’s complete openness towards all the major standards of GIS Data, from Rasters to ESRI ShapeFiles, from WMS sources to Pictometry, allowing to have the best-of-breed tools to manage existing data; plus it supports the standard interchange formats of cadastres, allowing to quickly create new interfaces for upcoming formats.
