ABACO S.r.l. receives 2010 Oracle Spatial Award

Phoenix, AZ, USA, April 29, 2010 - Abaco S.r.l., leader in the research and development of solutions for 2D and 3D land management and their integration with Oracle technologies, has been named a recipient of the 2010 Oracle® Spatial Excellence Partnership Award by Oracle Corporation, during the annual Oracle Spatial User Conference, held in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

The award is one of the most sought-after and highly respected within the Spatial community. Abaco was selected from a worldwide group of competitive candidates.

Abaco was selected because of its effective use and early adoption of Oracle Spatial 11g technology, successful delivery of solutions responding to the requirements and needs of customers, management and integration of 3D data, and long and effective collaboration with Oracle's engineers and experts responsible for the development and marketing of Spatial technologies.

Among Abaco's solutions are: the Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS) for the management of subsidies to farmers in matters of CAP (Common Agricultural Policy), including the Spatial component called Land Parcel Identification System; the Land Management Information System framework to manage land and cadastral data; the Real-Estate Information System for public and private companies having the need to manage real-estate (including tenants management); the technologies to integrate, manage and visualize huge amounts of 2D and 3D data, aimed to the efficient 3D representation of the world.
