7th International LBS Conference

On behalf of the International Steering Committee of LBS & TeleCartography conference series i would like to invite you to submit
papers for LBS 2010.

The 7th International Symposium on LBS & TeleCartography will be held on September 20~22, 2010, in Guangzhou, China. The symposium brings together experts from around the world to present the latest research results and developments focusing on Location Based Services in the fields of Cartography, Geoinformation, Computer Sciences, Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing, Telecommunication, Geodesy, and Geomedia Techniques.

The symposium will bring together experts from around the world to present the latest research results and developments with focus on Location Based Services in the fields of Cartography, Geoinformation, Computer Science, Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing, Telecommunication, Geodesy, Geomedia Techniques, etc.

Topical areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

* New Theories for Location Based Services
* Pervasive Technologies for LBS
* Mobile and Ubiquitous Mapping
* 3D-Mapping, Virtual and Augmented Reality
* Personalization & Adaptive Methods
* Measurable image for LBS
* Positioning Methods
* Modelling of Spatial Environments for LBS
* Location Based Sensor Networks
* Wayfinding and Navigation
* Location Based Collaboration
* Location Based Media Technologies
* Location Based Services and Web 2.0
* LBS Course System & Teaching experience
* LBS in security and safeguard
* Ubiquitous advertising
* Location based gaming
* New applications of Location Based Services

All papers will be reviewed by 2-3 Technical Program Committee members.

Each accepted paper should make at least one full registration in the symposium. Non-registered papers will not be included in the conference proceedings. Selected papers will be published in an upcoming book on Locations Based Services & TeleCartography by Springer.

Abstracts (Extended) Submission Deadline: 15th March, 2010
Full Paper Submission Deadline (firm deadline): 15th April, 2010
Authors Notification: 15th May, 2010
Camera Ready Manuscript Deadline: 31st May, 2010
Symposium: September 20-22, 2010
