We are pleased to announce the Third United Nations International UN-SPIDER Bonn Workshop: "Disaster Management and Space Technology - From Concepts to Application", which is being jointly organized by the United Nations Office
for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). The workshop will be held in Bonn, Germany, from 21 - 23 October 2009 in the UN premises in Bonn.
The web site and application form are available at the links below. The application form FULLY COMPLETED AND SIGNED, should be submitted by email to Mr. Joerg Szarzynski, UN-SPIDER Bonn Office, Germany or faxed to: (+49) 228 815 0399, no later than Monday 31 August 2009. In case you are
requesting funding support, please make sure that your application is signed by the Head of the Institution, otherwise it will not be considered.
We are also planning the following meeting which is being organised back-to-back with the Third International Bonn Workshop: "United Nations Geographic Information Working Group (UNGIWG) 10th (Anniversary) Plenary" in Bonn, Germany, 19 to 21 October 2009.
Further information regarding the agenda and general arrangements, including information concerning the venue of the meeting, arrival in Bonn, hotel accommodation, transportation to and from the airport and other logistical details, will soon be available on the UN-SPIDER Knowledge Portal at the link below.
