GADFLY PROJECT LAUNCHES “GLOBAL GEOSPATIAL INITIA

July 22, 2010 - Baltimore, Maryland- In an effort to assist emerging, and disaster-stricken, economies to more effectively enter the global marketplace, The Gadfly Project (TGP) is introducing its Global Geospatial Initiative (GGI). This program will make cutting edge geo-based technologies available, at a fraction of the cost, to regions and nations that cannot budget the prohibitive costs of implementing such systems.

TGP will provide the services and training that will allow these entities to develop new geographical information systems (GIS), web maps, and geo-management practices. This is made possible by the generous donations of leading industry suppliers and numerous professional volunteers. These systems will provide the basis to manage public works, natural resources, infrastructure, taxes, and census, to name a few.

TGP hopes to provide the management infrastructure to allow economies to grow and provide for the basic needs of its people. “The global humanity is now more interconnected than ever before. It is in the best interest of us all to ensure that each responsible nation be able to function effectively and grow its economy”, says Ryan Johnson, Executive Director of TGP.

Interested nations are invited to apply by contacting The Gadfly Project at info@thegadflyproject.org. To learn more about TGP please visit the link bekow.
